Dates: October 3-18: Sundays - Thursdays, Noon - 9 p.m.; Fridays & Saturday, Noon - 10 p.m. Ticket sales end 1 hour before closing.
Cost: $10 for 1 day, $17 for 2 days. Active & retired military $1 discount. Children 12 & under FREE.
Special Days at Homearama 2009
- A Taste of Chesapeake, sponsored by Columbia Natural Gas and HR Magazine, Monday, Oct. 5, 5:30-7:30 p.m., will allow guests to sample fare from Chesapeake restaurants.
- Military Appreciation Day, on Monday, Oct. 5, military guests can take advantage of buy one, get one free admission with a valid military identification card.
- “Two for Tuesdays” with Cox Communications offering two-for-one admission to anyone presenting a Cox Communications cable bill on Tuesday, Oct. 6, or Tuesday, Oct. 13.
- Realtors Day, set for Wednesday, Oct. 7, allows area realtors to be admitted free all day long with a business card. Early birds enjoy a hearty breakfast from 9:30-11 a.m.
- Kidarama, hosted by Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, Saturday, Oct. 17 from noon until 2 p.m. featuring face painting, CHKD pet therapy dogs and interactive projects for the children.
- The Homearama Furniture Sale from noon-6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19 where visitors get the chance to buy their favorite furnishings and décor from the Homearama homes. Free entry tickets for the sale will be given to all Homearama visitors in their show bag during the event.
- School Day, Tuesday, Oct. 13, pre-authorized chaperoned high school and college drafting/design classes will visit the show, with scheduled tours beginning at 11:00 a.m. Contact TBA for details.
